Pulley Broke and Collapsed Suddenly
A man fell to his death while making kimchi on the rooftop of a villa in Daegu.
According to the Daegu Western Police Station on the 27th, around 3:50 p.m. the previous day, a man in his 70s, Mr. A, fell from the rooftop of a three-story multi-family house in Wondae-dong, Seo-gu, Daegu, onto the rooftop of an adjacent building.
It was understood that Mr. A was using ropes and pulley devices installed on the rooftop to pull napa cabbages for kimchi from the first floor to the rooftop when the accident occurred.
He was taken to a nearby hospital immediately after the accident but ultimately passed away.
