LH Wins Minister of Science and ICT Award for Digital Transformation of Compensation Operations
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 27th that it received the Minister of Science and ICT Award at the Electronic Document Industry Day commemorative event.
LH was selected for this year's government pilot project to promote paperless operations and implemented the 'Electronic Document Distribution and Original Certification Platform Service,' which converts paper-based notices and guidance documents used in compensation work into electronic documents and sends them to customers' smartphones.

In particular, the service was elevated beyond simple notification functions by including an original certification feature that enables the effect of certified mail, enhancing the level of electronic notification services.
LH analyzed that the introduction of this service reduced customer inconvenience and damages caused by undelivered postal notices due to unknown or absent recipients, as well as decreased inefficiencies and costs associated with the 'delivery-return-redelivery-return' process.
Starting with this pilot project, LH plans to expand the electronic notification service to all compensation progress districts and operate services throughout the compensation process, including electronic objection submissions for property investigations as well as notifications.
Additionally, from this day forward, LH will be the first public institution to introduce electronic appraisal reports. By receiving appraisal reports electronically instead of on paper, the inconvenience of manually inputting appraisal results is reduced, and accuracy is improved.
LH expects to save approximately 300 million KRW annually, which was previously spent on printing about 10,000 appraisal reports, as well as costs related to storage.
