View original imageThis event was organized to create an opportunity for national grand integration by gathering ingredients from across the country (such as Paju cabbage, Uiseong garlic, and Goesan red pepper powder) from 243 local governments nationwide and the Committee for the Five Northern Provinces to make kimchi together. On this day, about 2,000 people attended from 243 local governments nationwide, including youth, elderly, foreign workers, North Korean defectors, multicultural students, and volunteers. Including participants in the 17 local events, the total number reached about 4,500. The total 100,000 kg of kimchi made at KINTEX and local sites will be delivered to marginalized groups through donation organizations.
