Honam University HR Research Institute Signs Business Agreement with Busan University of Foreign Studies Global Korean Studies Institute
On the 27th, Honam University Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences announced that it signed a business agreement on the 25th with Busan University of Foreign Studies Global Korean Studies Institute to activate exchange and cooperation.
At the signing ceremony, both institutions promised practical cooperation for mutual development and the expansion of educational programs, as well as joint research in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and global Korean studies. Specifically, they plan to build a continuous network through academic seminars and conferences, such as jointly planning and operating academic lectures, and continue exchanges including sharing work resources and know-how.
The Global Korean Studies Institute at Busan University of Foreign Studies opened on September 1st to establish an academic platform that widely promotes Korea’s language, culture, thought, politics, economy, and technology based on the advancement and success of K-content, enabling global exchange and communication.

Honam University Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, the only private university in the Honam region selected for the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Institute support project by the National Research Foundation of Korea in 2019, has been conducting the project for six years with 1.2 billion KRW of national funding under the theme of "Research on Liberal Arts Education to Cultivate Humanities Literacy in a Hyperconnected Society," hosting research and academic programs as well as public lectures.
