Full Opening of Busan North Port Phase 1 Waterfront Park from the 27th
Implemented by City, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Jung-gu, Dong-gu, Busan Port Authority, and Facilities Corporation
Busan City will conduct a joint on-site road check with related organizations at 10:30 a.m. on the 27th, following the full opening of the Bukhang Phase 1 Waterfront Park from the 27th.
This joint on-site road check will be carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Jung-gu and Dong-gu districts, Busan Port Authority, and Busan Facilities Corporation to support the early full opening of the Busan Port Bukhang Waterfront Park and the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo.
To ensure that citizens do not experience any inconvenience while using the park, officials from Busan City and related institutions involved in the creation and management of the Bukhang Phase 1 Waterfront Park will directly inspect the facilities on site.
The Busan Port Bukhang Phase 1 Waterfront Park is an infrastructure project of the Busan Port Bukhang Phase 1 Port Redevelopment Project, which has been underway since 2008. The facilities are being transferred from the project implementer, Busan Port Authority, to Busan City and will be fully opened on the 27th.
Out of the total park area of 196,000㎡, 149,000㎡ that have been completed will be fully open to the public from 5 a.m. to midnight.
The fully opened Busan Port Bukhang Waterfront Park, which is adjacent to coastal features such as scenic waterways, is expected to become an open healing space for everyone, where visitors can feel the sea and relax in the heart of the city.
