Korea Life Love Foundation Successfully Concludes Hope Seed Concert
The 2023 Life Sharing Support Night 'Seeds of Hope Concert,' hosted by the Korea Life Love Foundation and organized by the Seeds of Hope Sponsorship Association, attracted great attention.
The event held on the 20th at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center Convention Hall was attended by about 300 people, including Gwangju Mayor Kang Ki-jung, Chairman Kim Dong-hwa, Sponsorship Chairman Kim Dong-chan, former Gwangju Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Jo In-cheol, lawyers Park Gyun-taek and Jeong Jun-ho, former Blue House administrator Choi Chi-hyun, as well as registered organ donors and sponsors, making it a great success.
At the Life Sharing Merit Awards, Kim Chang-hoe, CEO of Ssanggyo Sutbul Galbi, Choi Seon-mi of the Gwangju Private Daycare Association, Kim Seong-jung, CEO of Haneulgadeuk Co., Ltd., and Park Man-su, CEO of Sanarae Co., Ltd., each received commendations from the Mayor of Gwangju.
On this day, Chairman Kim Dong-hwa said, "Organ donation is the way to save lives," and urged, "Those present here should dispel negative perceptions about organ donation and take the lead in participating in organ donation."
Mayor Kang Ki-jung, in his congratulatory remarks, stated, "The miracle of life, where my end becomes someone else's new beginning, and the sharing of life is precisely organ donation," adding, "In the reality of an absolute shortage of organ donors in Korea, Gwangju City will seek roles and tasks that local governments can undertake and strive to enable citizens to participate in the life-sharing movement."
Chairman Kim Dong-hwa appointed Professor Song Young-chang of Gwangju University as the Life Sharing Ambassador and presented plaques of appreciation to Lee Ho-dong (Gwangju Gyeongshin Middle School), Lee Kyung-won (President of the Myeongin Rotary Club), Jo Seok (CEO of Menpus Co., Ltd.), and Kim Hong-il (CEO of Fish Day).
