Professor Song Chang-young of Gwangju University was appointed as an ambassador for the Korea Life Love Foundation at the '2023 Life Sharing Support Night: Seeds of Hope Concert' held on the 20th.
As an ambassador, Professor Song will raise public awareness of the life-sharing movement, serve as a mediator between organ donors and recipients, and promote the spirit of noblesse oblige.
Professor Song said, "Having witnessed the boundary between life and death at various disaster sites, I have gained a profound understanding of the preciousness of life. I have already registered as an organ donor myself, and I will take the lead in ensuring that the culture of respecting life and sharing life takes root in our society as soon as possible."
