Gyeongnam National University 56th Student Council Election, Park Gangju and Lee Yubin Elected

In the 2024 academic year election for the 56th Student Council President at Gyeongnam National University, candidates Park Gang-ju (Department of Security and Protection, 3rd year) and Lee Yu-bin (Department of Police Science, 3rd year) were elected.
The student council election held on the 23rd was conducted mainly through online voting to increase voter turnout, and an on-site polling station was also operated in the large auditorium on the 3rd floor of Hanma Hall for students who had difficulty voting online. In addition to the student council election, elections for six college student councils were held simultaneously.
The election results showed that out of 8,817 eligible voters at Gyeongnam National University, a total of 4,075 participated, recording a turnout rate of 46.2%. The two candidates were elected with 3,527 votes in favor.
The two candidates ran under the slogan of the 56th ‘Sungan’ Student Council, pledging to organize events such as ▲Cherry Blossom Festival ▲Autumn Grand Festival ▲Hanma Daedongje ▲Hanma Cup ▲Invited Lectures ▲Department Vlogs ▲Blood Donation and Blood Donation Certificate Donation.
