At Gumi Factory, Simultaneous Assembly of Four Unmanned Surface Vessels Possible
LIG Nex1 announced on the 24th that it held a completion ceremony for the dedicated system integration test facility for unmanned surface vessels.

View original imageThe test facility, which received usage approval in June, has a total floor area of 1,000㎡ and is equipped with crane facilities capable of assembling four unmanned surface vessels simultaneously, as well as a water tank with a capacity of approximately 1,000 tons.
The test facility conducts system integration tests divided into ▲platform ▲autonomous navigation unit ▲central control unit ▲wireless communication unit ▲armament ▲surveillance and reconnaissance unit ▲underwater search unit to improve overall performance and operational capabilities. LIG Nex1 plans to utilize this test facility as a venue for simulated tests and pre-functional inspections during the development and mass production processes of unmanned surface vessels.
