Text messages from Ms. A (29, female), the manager of a Gangnam room salon known as a key figure in the case involving actor Lee Sun-kyun (48) and singer G-Dragon (35, real name Kwon Ji-yong), who are accused of drug use, have been revealed.
On the 23rd, MBC's 'True Story Expedition' announced a broadcast about Lee Sun-kyun's drug scandal scheduled for that afternoon. Prior to this, the production team disclosed some of the messages exchanged between Ms. A, who is known to have blackmailed Lee Sun-kyun, and a hacker.
Lee Sun-kyun is under police investigation this year for allegedly using various types of drugs, including marijuana, at Ms. A's residence in Seoul. Ms. A was arrested on the 18th of last month on charges of methamphetamine use. Ms. A has six prior convictions related to drug use, and before her recent arrest, a preliminary test detected a large amount of psychotropic substances. During this process, the police confiscated Ms. A's mobile phone.
In the police investigation, Lee Sun-kyun claimed, "Ms. A deceived me and gave me drugs," and insisted, "I did not know they were drugs." Lee Sun-kyun's side filed a complaint against Ms. A and Mr. B, stating, "I was blackmailed and extorted for 350 million won due to this incident." In response, Ms. A claimed, "I was also blackmailed on social media by a hacker Mr. B, whose identity I do not know."
In the messages released by the True Story Expedition production team, Ms. A spoke informally with the blackmailer Mr. B. Ms. A used emoticons like 'ㅋㅋㅋ' and initiated the conversation by proposing, "If you give me 100 million won, will you keep quiet?" Notably, although Ms. A agreed on 100 million won with Mr. B, she demanded 300 million won from Lee Sun-kyun.
On the same day, entertainment media Dispatch revealed the core of the case as Ms. A's one-woman show: deceiving, intimidating, slandering, and extorting money, and published conversations between Lee Sun-kyun and Ms. A. Ms. A was reported to be a freelance hostess who only works when there are customers at the G establishment. The report added, "Ms. A is a notorious 'drug user.' She is skilled with drugs but also a good liar."
According to the report, Ms. A sent a message to Lee Sun-kyun saying, "The hacker hacked the Apple Watch and was listening to all conversations between me and oppa (Lee Sun-kyun)," and "I also have all the voice files of our calls." She further warned, "If you ignore the hacker and this gets out in the media, it's all over. I said I wouldn't blackmail again if you give me 300 million won."

Ms. A boasted about having more than ten celebrities. Meanwhile, on the same day, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute released a photo of Ms. A. A nightlife industry insider commented about Ms. A, "She has many customers and is number one in Gangnam."
