With digital transformation led by both the public and private sectors, the government becomes smarter, administrative procedures become simpler, and society becomes safer.
The Digital Platform Government Committee under the President, together with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, will hold the "2023 Korea Government Expo" for three days starting from the 23rd at BEXCO in Busan.
Kakao, Kakao Mobility, Kakao Brain, Kakao Enterprise, Kakao Pay, and Kakao Healthcare have set up booths under the title "A Digital Platform for Everyone's Daily Life" to provide demonstration services.

This expo is composed of various events that allow citizens to experience in advance the changes in daily life brought about by the implementation of the Digital Platform Government. A total of 99 public and private institutions are participating, organized under three themes: "Convenient Services," "Smart Government," and "Safe Society."
Visitors can explore various AI-based services such as analyzing vast amounts of bills, laws, and policy data with artificial intelligence (AI) to provide customized services for each company, and preventing crimes using quantum AI cameras. There is also a quadruped walking robot equipped with AI technology that supports life rescue in disaster environments.
At the Youth Platform Special Pavilion, visitors can experience a platform that informs and helps apply for customized support policies and solutions to address the concerns and worries of young people.
At the Next Pandemic Response Pavilion, an AI ambulance can be seen that links hospital and personal medical information to the ambulance, diagnoses with AI, and quickly searches and connects to hospitals capable of treatment to secure the golden time for emergency patients.
The opening event on the 23rd, titled "A New Korea Opened by Youth," features youth advisors from various ministries introducing the achievements of youth policies and discussing their expectations for the government.
SK Telecom has set up an exclusive exhibition hall at this event, showcasing its own LLM (Large Language Model) applicable to the public sector, video analysis AI using AI cameras, and the location data analysis platform 'Litmus Plus'.

At the DPG Conference held on the same day, over 40 digital experts from government agencies, academia, industry, and research institutes gather to share views and evaluations on the Digital Platform Government and discuss development plans.
On the last day of the expo, the 25th, the "National Report Meeting" will be held where Chairman Ko Jin of the Digital Platform Government Committee will directly present the progress of the initiatives.
There will also be a "National Proclamation Ceremony" pledging the implementation of the Digital Platform Government and government innovation through public-private cooperation, as well as the launch ceremony of the "Global DPG Alliance" to support exports and cooperation of the Digital Platform Government.
Chairman Ko said, "This is an opportunity to experience government services based on digital platform technologies such as AI and cloud in advance," adding, "The government and private sector will become one team so that citizens can enjoy more convenient services and the government can become smarter."

Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Sang-min said, "I hope people will get a glimpse of Korea’s future along with various government innovation cases that make citizens’ daily lives more convenient and safe," and added, "The government, public institutions, and companies will work together to ensure stable access to better government services."
