Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Oh Do-chang) held the '2023 Rural Guidance Project Comprehensive Evaluation Meeting' on November 22 at the Agricultural Technology Center's main conference room, targeting over 200 participants including pilot farm households, learning organizations, and leading farmers involved in the rural guidance project.

View original imageThe comprehensive evaluation meeting for the rural guidance project covered a total of 55 projects, including 23 projects in rural foundation establishment, practical education for farmers, rural women's education and life improvement, and agricultural machinery rental, as well as 32 projects in technology dissemination such as crop pest and disease monitoring, pesticide safety use, region-specific pilot projects, new income crop pilots, abnormal weather response and orchard damage prevention technology dissemination pilots, and fostering informatization farmers. The meeting provided an opportunity to communicate with farmers to revitalize and develop the rural guidance project through the evaluation of the 2023 pilot project outcomes.
During the evaluation meeting, education on safety management, including farm work safety management and the Positive List System (PLS) for pesticide residue management, was also conducted.
