Support for Global Expansion and Investment Attraction for Companies Entering and Graduating from Global Startup Academy
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kang Seok-jin, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 23rd that it held the 'G-ROUND Demo Day' at the Global Startup Academy located in Guro, Seoul, to support the global expansion and investment attraction of companies entering and graduating from the Global Startup Academy.
This demo day was the final stage of a six-month-long private investor relations (IR) presentations and mentoring sessions. It was an external open IR pitching event where the achievements of participating companies were disclosed to private investors, financial institutions, and startup investment-related organizations. In particular, it was promoted to confirm the growth of participating companies and select outstanding companies to provide opportunities that lead to practical investment attraction.
A total of 24 companies conducted group IR pitching sessions, and a lecture was also given by Park Jun-gi, CEO of Payhere. Payhere shared insights on successfully attracting investment from global investors.
