On the afternoon of the 22nd, S-OIL Ulsan Refinery delivered maritime safety relief supplies worth 15 million KRW to the Ulsan Coast Guard Station for single-person fishing vessels and small-scale fishermen in the Ulsan area.
This delivery ceremony was held as part of the "Reducing Marine Accidents Campaign" conducted by the Korea Coast Guard targeting fishermen and marine-related businesses. Attendees included Jeong Wook-han, Chief of Ulsan Coast Guard Station, Oh Seok-dong, Executive Director of S-OIL, and Gu Chun-geun, President of the Ulsan Maritime Rescue Association.
S-OIL provided 15 million KRW this year to purchase maritime safety relief supplies, and the Korea Maritime Rescue Association used S-OIL’s support funds to purchase inflatable life jackets and powder and throwable fire extinguishers.
The purchased maritime safety relief supplies will be directly delivered to small-scale fishermen based at Jinha Port, Songjeong Port, and Daesong Port in the region through the Ulsan Coast Guard Station.
