Eugene Investment & Securities Launches Two Early Redemption Step-Down ELS Products
Yujin Investment & Securities will offer two types of early redemption step-down equity-linked securities (ELS) from the 22nd to the 30th.
The "475th ELS" is a 3-year maturity principal non-guaranteed product based on the S&P 500 index and Tesla (TESLA). According to the step-down structure, early redemption and maturity redemption opportunities are provided every 6 months. On early redemption evaluation dates, if the closing prices of all underlying assets are at least 85% (6, 12 months), 80% (18 months), 75% (24 months), and 70% (30 months) of the initial reference price, early redemption will occur. If the closing price is at least 65% (36 months) on the maturity evaluation date, the maturity redemption condition is met, allowing for a pre-tax annual return of 13.5%.
The "476th ELS," based on Tesla (TESLA) and NVIDIA, is a 1-year maturity principal non-guaranteed product, with early redemption and maturity redemption opportunities every 3 months. On early redemption evaluation dates, if the closing prices of all underlying assets are at least 85% (3 months), 80% (6 months), and 70% (9 months) of the initial reference price, early redemption will occur. If the closing price is at least 65% (12 months) on the maturity evaluation date, maturity redemption will be executed, yielding a pre-tax annual return of 25%.
Both types of early redemption step-down ELS being offered adopt a knock-in structure. Even if the closing price of the underlying assets on the maturity evaluation date is below 65% of the initial reference price, maturity redemption will occur if none of the underlying assets have fallen below 30% for the 475th ELS or 45% for the 476th ELS from the initial reference price until the maturity evaluation date. Principal and interest can be received. If these conditions are not met, principal loss may occur.
