70s Woman Found Dead Under 1.4t Onion Nets in Onion Warehouse
A man in his 70s died after being crushed by a falling onion sack from a forklift in an onion warehouse.
According to the Muan Police Station on the 21st, at around 8:45 a.m. on the 18th, a woman in her 70s, identified as A, was crushed by a 1.4-ton onion sack in an onion warehouse in Muan-gun.
A, who was seriously injured in the accident, was transported to a hospital but was reported to have died.
According to the police investigation, A, who was sorting onions at the time, was crushed underneath the onion sack that fell from a height of 3 meters on a forklift.
The police have booked B (22), the forklift driver and an illegal immigrant of Turkish nationality, on charges of professional negligence causing death and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
