Daishin Securities recently held a ceremony at Ewha Womans University to present the 'Next-Generation Biopharmaceutical Research Center Endowment Fund,' attended by Lee Yui-ryong, Chairman of Daishin Financial Group, and Kim Eun-mi, President of Ewha Womans University. The fund will be used to build infrastructure for the next-generation biopharmaceutical research center at Ewha Womans University, support new drug development research, and foster specialized personnel.
President Kim Eun-mi said, "We expect the endowment fund to greatly help in building the infrastructure of our College of Pharmacy and strengthening research capabilities," adding, "We will strive to produce world-class research outcomes and nurture talents who will lead future research." Chairman Lee Yui-ryong stated, "Efforts to cultivate excellent talent are essential for the sustainable development of our country," and added, "I hope this endowment fund will contribute to strengthening the global competitiveness of Korea's biopharmaceutical sector."

This is the second time Daishin Financial Group has donated an endowment fund to Ewha Womans University, following its support for the construction of the Ewha West Campus last October. Daishin Financial Group is conducting various medical support projects to promote public health, including surgery cost support at Asan Medical Center, Konkuk University Medical Center, and Chonnam National University Hospital, as well as endowment funds for the National Cancer Center and donations for medical volunteer services.
