Professor Kim Hye-sook of the Department of Health Administration at Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik) received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at this year’s 6th Medical Technician Day ceremony.
On the 15th, at the Seoul Education Center of the Korean Optometric Association, during an event organized by the Korean Federation of Medical Technician Associations, Professor Kim was awarded the Minister of Health and Welfare Award and the Chairman of the Health and Welfare Committee Commendation, Silla University announced.

She has devoted herself to the development of the healthcare field through various roles, including Academic Committee Member of the Korean Association of Health Information Managers, Term Exam Commissioner for Health Information Managers, Director of the Korean Society of Health Industry, Director of the Korean Society for Health Education and Health Promotion, and Executive Director of the Alcohol and Health Behavior Society.
Professor Kim Hye-sook said, “The role of health information managers leading the development of the healthcare sector in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is important,” and added, “I will do my best to nurture professional talent in the field of health administration” in her acceptance speech.
The Department of Health Administration at Silla University has contributed to maintaining and promoting public health by producing outstanding talents in related fields since its establishment in 2009.
