Gwangju Lotte Department Store Operates Popup Store for Gwangju Content Company Characters
Gwangju Lotte Department Store announced that it will operate a character pop-up store featuring Gwangju content companies from November 20 to 26 on the 9th floor event hall.
This pop-up store is designed as an interactive space where visitors can not only purchase character products from seven Gwangju-based content companies but also enjoy various events together.
At the event hall, visitors can find over 30 different character products from Gwangju content companies, including animation IPs supported by Gwangju City such as "Dudadakung," "Rainbow Bubblegem," "Magic Girl Didi," "Dino Man," and character IPs like "Hi! Aewandol," all in one place.
During the event period, various experiential events will be held, including character drawing experiences for children, capsule toy vending events, and lucky boxes. Additionally, a character parade is scheduled to take place three times on the 25th.
Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch and Gwangju City plan to support local content companies in pioneering sales channels through this pop-up store and work together to create a character distribution environment that realizes social value.
Hong Ki-chang, Sales Planning Team Leader at Lotte Department Store Gwangju Branch, said, "We have gathered various products utilizing IPs from local content companies along with events full of enjoyable activities. Going forward, Gwangju Branch plans to continuously support various activities that can coexist and prosper with local companies."
