Lotte Wellfood Unveils Four Types of 'Girin Hobbang' for Winter Peak Season
Using Consumer-Preferred Ingredients Such as Red Beans, Corn, Vegetables, and Pizza
Lotte Wellfood announced on the 20th that it will launch four types of 'Girin Hobbang' ahead of the winter peak season.
The newly released Girin Hobbang applies a patented probiotic fermentation method tailored for fermented bread, incorporating 50 years of know-how from Lotte Wellfood Girin. This unique probiotic, which combines two strains, contains gluten-degrading bacteria that make the dough softer and reduce fermentation odor, enhancing the flavor.
The new products utilize four popular ingredients among consumers: red bean, corn, vegetable, and pizza. In particular, the Girin Sweet Red Bean Hobbang and Girin Corn Hobbang increased the red bean paste content inside the bread by about 2 percentage points compared to previous versions, enhancing the original taste of the product.
