Hapcheon-gun Installs Nightscape Lighting from Haeinsa IC to Gayamyeon
Efforts to Improve Road Conditions Around Military Tourist Sites
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 20th that it has carried out a project to install solar-powered LED landscape lighting in the central green zone of Local Road No. 1084, spanning 4.20 km between Haeinsa IC and the Gayamyeon area.
According to the county, the first phase of the project, from Haeinsa IC to Wolgwang Rotary intersection, was completed on the 17th, and the landscape lighting has been turned on. The remaining section from Wolgwang Rotary intersection to Gayamyeon area is scheduled to be completed within this year.
This road section, frequently used by visitors to Haeinsa Temple, was dark and desolate at night due to the absence of nighttime lighting. In response, the county installed landscape lighting to improve the nighttime road environment.
In particular, the solar-powered LED landscape lighting provides drivers with a colorful visual experience during nighttime driving, contributes to creating a bright and pleasant nighttime road environment, and is expected to have a positive effect on revitalizing local tourism.
