Daegu City will select companies through a fair and objective evaluation process conducted by the Daegu National Industrial Complex Resident Company Evaluation Committee, composed of experts in management, technology, accounting, and environment, and plans to announce the selected companies on December 8.
The Daegu National Industrial Complex, located in Guji-myeon, Dalseong-gun, covers a total area of 8,559,000㎡ (4,911,000㎡ of industrial land) and has been developed in phases. The 1st phase was completed in December 2016, with about 180 companies currently operating factories, and the 2nd phase began infrastructure construction in November 2017, scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
The Daegu National Industrial Complex boasts excellent transportation accessibility, being adjacent to the Hyunpung IC of the Jungbu Inland Expressway, connected to downtown Daegu by a straight 4-lane road, and with the Daegu Industrial Line railway planned. It is also near key component small and medium enterprises clustered in TechnoPolis and the Dalseong 1st and 2nd Industrial Complexes, maximizing synergy effects through inter-company cooperation.
Additionally, as the last large-scale advanced industrial site remaining in the region, it offers optimal location conditions to lead future new growth industries through linkage and convergence with Gumi’s IT industry, Changwon’s machinery industry, and Daegu downtown industrial complex’s parts and materials industry.
