"Help Poor University Students" ... Yeonam Scholarship Foundation Donates 52 Million Won to Korea Student Aid Foundation
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byeong-il) and the Yeonam Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Baek Jeong-su) held the 2023 2nd Semester Blue Lighthouse Yeonam Scholarship Foundation Donation Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony at the Korea Student Aid Foundation Seoul Office on the 17th.
The Yeonam Scholarship Foundation donated 52 million KRW to the Korea Student Aid Foundation to support low-income and socially disadvantaged college students.

View original imageThrough the 2023 2nd Semester Blue Lighthouse Yeonam Scholarship Foundation Donation Scholarship Project, the Korea Student Aid Foundation selected 35 outstanding college students from socially disadvantaged groups including low-income, disabled, and youth preparing for independence, providing each with a living expense scholarship of 1.5 million KRW.
Bae Seong-geun, Scholarship Director of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, said, “We are grateful to the Yeonam Scholarship Foundation for providing scholarships to college students who find it difficult to focus on their studies due to financial difficulties. This support from the Yeonam Scholarship Foundation will be a great help to college students in need of social consideration, and we will continue to work hard with donors to ensure that any college student with will and ability can enjoy educational opportunities.”
Moon Seong-hoon, Director of the Yeonam Scholarship Foundation, said, “It is meaningful to support college students in need together with the Korea Student Aid Foundation. Since its establishment in 1976, the Yeonam Scholarship Foundation has supported about 6,500 scholarship recipients, and we will continue to support college students facing financial difficulties so they can freely pursue their dreams.”
