Kibo Selected as a Lead Group Member of the UN Global Compact for Sustainable Management
Recognition of Efforts to Promote Sustainable Management Culture as a Public Institution
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 17th that it has been selected as a Sustainability Management LEAD group at the '2023 Korea Leaders Summit' event hosted by the UN Global Compact (UNGC) Korea Network.
The UNGC Korea Network selects LEAD groups annually among companies actively promoting the culture of sustainable management and engaging in UNGC activities. This year, a total of 10 organizations were selected as LEAD groups, including 8 private companies and 2 public institutions. Kibo was recognized for its efforts to spread a culture of sustainable management as a public institution.
Since joining the UNGC in 2011, which aims to promote sustainable development of companies, Kibo has pursued initiatives such as reducing greenhouse gases through the introduction of a carbon value assessment process, fair recruitment through on-site employment briefings, and the realization of social responsibility management and transparent management.

Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, stated, "Kibo has emphasized adherence to principles based on strict standards and transparent procedures, and accordingly, was recognized for its achievements for two consecutive years, including receiving the Anti-Corruption Award from the UNGC last year."
