Gwangyang Jungma Library Successfully Completes 'Reading Journey Outside the Library'
Exploring Local Literary Figures' Birthplaces and Other Attractions
Jeonnam Gwangyang Jungma Library announced on the 15th that the 'Reading Journey Outside the Library' program held in the areas of Gwangyang-eup and Bonggang-myeon was completed with favorable reviews from participants.
This lecture invited Professor Jeon Heung-nam, who was in charge of the 2023 Reading Academy lecture on 'Modern and Contemporary Namdo Literature,' and operated by exploring local literary figures' related sites such as the birthplace of Maecheon Hwang Hyun, Jeong Chae-bong Mural Alley, and Lee Gyun-young Literary Hill, while listening to lectures on-site.
One participant who attended the lecture said, "I have been very interested in literature, and it was great to listen to literary lectures outside the library at places related to writers," adding, "I hope to experience unique lectures like today in the future."
