Shinhan Bank Introduces 'Wireless Backdoor Hacking Detection System'
Shinhan Bank announced on the 17th that it has introduced a real-time system at the Jukjeon and Ilsan data centers to strengthen security against wireless frequency hacking. A backdoor refers to a program that allows access to a system without going through normal procedures such as user authentication.
This system is an advanced defense solution that monitors wireless spy chips, which can disable the network separation system of the bank's data centers, in real time and immediately detects any external transmission of frequencies suspected to be wireless backdoor hacking, thereby fundamentally blocking information leakage.
Through the introduction of this system, Shinhan Bank has enhanced monitoring of unauthorized and illegal frequency communication devices, detected wireless backdoor information leaks and security threats, and ensured compliance through proactive system establishment. Additionally, by strengthening the information protection system, the bank can operate a safer and more reliable system.
