CU Box showcases video recognition AI in Singapore... Participates in SFF 2023
AI video recognition specialist CUBox announced that it showcased its video recognition AI products at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF 2023) from the 15th to the 17th.
The theme of this year's SFF 2023 was "Growth of AI Technology and Its Application and Utilization in the Financial Sector." Specifically, it focused on ▲carbon reduction ▲enhancing accessibility for marginalized groups ▲expansion of the digital economy in response to climate, technology, and cyber threats.
CUBox presented three products aligned with the theme: the video recognition AI-based identity verification solution "e-KYC," the video security solution "K-Face On" (tentative name), and a face recognition-based access control system.
"e-KYC" is a technology that verifies customers' identity and qualifications through facial recognition in a non-face-to-face environment, primarily adopted by the financial sector in Korea. Additionally, "K-Face On" (tentative name) is an enterprise security technology that allows authorized users within a company to conveniently and securely access the internal network and confidential documents anywhere using their face, and further detects abnormal behaviors such as smartphone screen capturing.
These products significantly reduce operational costs and carbon emissions by minimizing unnecessary resource input caused by previous technical limitations. Therefore, they are effective in environmental protection and improvement. They are easy, convenient, and affordable for anyone to use. They greatly enhance accessibility for relatively marginalized groups, including children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged individuals.
