Modetour Q3 Operating Profit 3 Billion KRW... "Three Consecutive Quarters of Profit"
Sales of 53.9 Billion KRW, Up 420% Compared to the Same Period Last Year
Modetour announced on the 16th that its consolidated sales for the third quarter of this year reached 53.9 billion KRW, a 420% increase compared to the same period last year, marking the highest quarterly performance since the COVID-19 pandemic. Operating profit for the same period was 3 billion KRW, continuing a profit streak for three consecutive quarters. The cumulative operating profit for this year is 12.5 billion KRW.
In the third quarter, considered the peak season for the travel industry due to summer vacations and Chuseok holidays, Modetour's outbound travelers for overseas trips reached 330,000, a 302% increase compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the sales proportion of 'Modusignature,' which aims for reasonable premium offerings, accounted for 23%, an 18 percentage point increase compared to before COVID-19.
