Various Benefits in Exhibitions, Performances, Movies, and Sports
On the 16th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that it will provide benefits in areas such as exhibitions, performances, movies, and sports to help students who have completed the College Scholastic Ability Test relieve stress through cultural activities. Yoo Byung-chae, Director of the Cultural Arts Policy Office, said, "I hope that during this precious time of preparing for a new beginning, students can enjoy culture to relieve fatigue and enrich their knowledge."

View original imageStudents who possess their exam admission ticket can use many national cultural facilities for free. These include the National Museum of Korea (Stupa Forest, Mysterious Stories of India), the Gyeongju National Museum ("Twenty, My First Travel Destination is Gyeongju?"), and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Gwacheon, Seoul, Deoksugung, and Cheongju (including youth under 24 years old). The Blue House, which opened last year, can also be entered without prior reservation until the 31st of next month.
The Seoul Arts Center is conducting the 'SAC on Screen - CSAT Special Screening' where students can watch performances online at school. High schools equipped with video and audio facilities can apply by the 8th of next month to receive performances such as the play "Returning" and the opera "The Magic Flute." Tickets for the 'Saturday Concert' on the 18th and 'Classics with Heart' on the 24th will also be offered at a 50% discount for those holding exam admission tickets.
During the last week of this month’s 'Culture Day,' the 'Youth Mic' performance will be held as a support program for young artists. It can be experienced at 28 Art Square in Dongseong-ro, Daegu (28th), Millak The Market in Suyeong-gu, Busan (29th), Annyeong Insadong in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and Space Jak in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province (all on December 3rd).
