Visang Education Signs Export Contract for 'master k' with Korean Education Center in Los Angeles, USA

View original imageVisang Education announced on the 16th that it has signed an export contract for the Korean language education platform 'Master K' with the Los Angeles Korean Education Center, affiliated with the Korean American Educational Foundation in California, USA.
With this contract, Visang Education will provide the Master K service to Korean American communities in the eastern and western United States, following the export contract signed last September with the Korean School of Southern New Jersey.
Visang Education will provide the Los Angeles Korean Education Center with the Master K dedicated platform, video conferencing solutions, Learning Management System (LMS), smart learning solution (klass), e-learning content, and AI-based Korean pronunciation evaluation, all essential edutech solutions and services for Korean language education.
The Los Angeles Korean Education Center, which signed the contract with Visang Education, is engaged in various activities to promote Korean language and culture, including the adoption of Korean language in American schools, support for Korean language schools, Korean cultural experiential learning support, administration of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), and support for government-funded Korean language students.
Recently, the demand for learning Korean among students in the United States has surged, leading to strengthened online Korean language education alongside face-to-face classes. Visang Education explained that Master K will meet the increasing demand for Korean language education.
In Southern California, where Master K is entering, as of the fall semester this year, 8,510 students are learning Korean in 332 classes across 80 schools. The number of TOPIK test takers recently surpassed 300, with 81.2% of them being foreign nationals, demonstrating the strong enthusiasm for learning Korean.
Kang Jeon-hoon, director of the Los Angeles Korean Education Center, said, “This contract allows us to provide high-quality content to Korean language learners in the U.S. regardless of time and place,” adding, “It is very welcome news for Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona, which have been relatively underserved areas for Korean language education compared to the Los Angeles area.”
No Jung-il, CEO of Visang Education GEO Core Group, said, “It is very meaningful to collaborate with the largest Los Angeles Korean Education Center in the U.S. on Korean language education,” and added, “Visang Education will do its best in the private sector to establish Korean as a global language.”

Meanwhile, along with this export contract, Visang Education has established an advanced Korean smart learning classroom at the Los Angeles Korean Education Center and donated Korean language textbooks and Korean government-approved textbooks.
