Hanacard Online Service Suspended
Hana Bank will temporarily suspend all financial transactions for system improvement work.
On the 15th, Hana Bank announced that it will temporarily suspend all financial transactions and services for 12 hours from midnight (0:00) to noon (12:00) on the 18th.
During this time, all financial transactions using Hana Bank accounts as well as all services through banking services will be temporarily suspended. The list of suspended services includes ▲electronic financial transactions such as mobile banking (Hana OneQ, OneQ Corporate, Hana EZ, iBuja), internet banking, firm banking, phone banking, CMS, and mobile web banking ▲virtual account transactions ▲transactions using check/debit cards (cash withdrawal, purchase of goods, etc.) ▲Hana Bank ATM transactions (cash withdrawal, account transfer, etc.) ▲Hana Certificate services.
In addition, services using Hana Bank accounts and systems through other banks or affiliated institutions will also be temporarily suspended. This includes ▲open banking services using Hana Bank accounts ▲withdrawal services at other banks’ ATMs and affiliated CD machines. Deposits into Hana Bank accounts from other banks will also not be possible.
On the same day, system improvement work for Hana Card will also be carried out until 6 p.m. Services using the website and mobile apps (OneQ Pay, Hana Money), online payments, long/short-term card loan services, real-time notification services, and point and voucher usage will be temporarily suspended.
However, offline on-site transactions will be possible. ‘Cash exchange’ at the Incheon International Airport currency exchange and ‘physical credit card payments’ at offline merchants can be used without interruption.
Hana Bank has provided prior notice through Kakao AlimTalk, email, mobile banking pop-ups, and call center voice messages to minimize customer inconvenience related to this temporary suspension of financial transactions. A consultation center will be operated to properly receive reports in case of incidents.
This work is part of the innovative ICT infrastructure construction project ‘Project One.’ Through this, a system environment that allows customers to transact more easily and quickly will be established, and the stability of services that customers can trust will be secured. The next-generation ICT system is planned to be launched from February next year.
