Riesling Wine Best Paired with Korean Cuisine
Exclusive Nationwide Launch at CU Stores
Kooksoondang announced on the 15th that it will exclusively launch the wine "Markus Molitor Universal Riesling," which pairs well with Korean cuisine, in South Korea. This wine was developed through a collaboration between Germany's representative winery "Markus Molitor" and Jenny Walden, the winner of the chef survival program MasterChef Sweden.
Markus Molitor is a family-run winery that has been producing wine for eight generations. It is recognized worldwide by experts and consumers through its perfect terroir analysis and reinterpretation of Germany's unique grape ripening classification, Pr?dikatswein. It is famous as the German winery with the most 100-point scores from wine critic Robert Parker.
Chef Jenny Walden is a Korean-Swedish chef who won the famous Swedish TV program MasterChef and currently operates the Korean restaurant "Namu" in Sweden as the owner chef.
The Markus Molitor Universal Riesling launched by Kooksoondang this time is a Riesling wine made by selecting only the flavors that best match Korean cuisine. It is highly praised for its very clean and pure mineral sensation, and its dry Riesling texture and fruity flavors pair well with various Korean dishes. In South Korea, Kooksoondang exclusively launches it, and it is exclusively sold at CU convenience stores nationwide.
