Imsil-gun 추진 for 'Microbial Cultivation Center' Construction... Introduction of Advanced Equipment
Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, has secured a special rural guidance equipment budget of 795 million KRW for 2024, including 750 million KRW for the introduction of equipment for the Microbial Cultivation Center and 45 million KRW for a field patrol guidance vehicle to enhance the efficiency of technology dissemination in farming sites.
According to the county on the 14th, the construction of the Agricultural Technology Center's Microbial Cultivation Center is a project with a total budget of 3 billion KRW (1.5 billion KRW from the national government and 1.5 billion KRW from the county government).
In particular, this project aims to establish a foundation for eco-friendly agriculture in response to the increasing consumer demand for eco-friendly agricultural products and the growing interest of farmers.
Thanks to the multifaceted efforts of related departments including Jeonbuk Province, the county has additionally secured 750 million KRW for the introduction of equipment for the Microbial Cultivation Center, giving momentum to the establishment of an eco-friendly agricultural foundation.
The budget for the introduction of the guidance vehicle was also additionally secured, enabling rapid and efficient field patrols for rural guidance projects to respond to aging and promote efficient rural guidance services.
The 795 million KRW budget secured by the county this time accounts for about 28% of the 2.84 billion KRW special rural guidance equipment budget of Jeollabuk-do for next year, which is a significant amount.
This achievement is evaluated as the result of proactive administration, where County Governor Shim Min and the responsible officials continuously visited related organizations to actively explain and persuade the necessity of introducing microbial cultivation equipment and field patrol guidance vehicles.
The county's Agricultural Technology Center is also promoting a scientific farming facility construction project worth a total of 15.6 billion KRW (7 billion KRW from the national government and 8.6 billion KRW from the county government) along with the construction of the Microbial Cultivation Center.
The county expects that once these facilities are completed, they will provide high-quality one-stop civil services to farmers and establish a foundation for the production of safe agricultural products.
It is also expected to greatly contribute to building a more scientific and systematic field technical support base for farmers and increasing farmers' income.
County Governor Shim Min said, “Thanks to the interest, support, and multifaceted efforts of Governor Kim Kwan-young and Jeollabuk-do, we were able to additionally secure the equipment budget. Through the establishment of the Microbial Cultivation Center and the introduction of the field patrol guidance vehicle, we will strive to support the establishment of a more eco-friendly and systematic technical support base for farmers and increase farmers' income.”
