The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety selects the winner through a quantitative evaluation of five indicators in the ‘Food Poisoning Prevention Management Project’ field, targeting 17 cities and provinces nationwide: ▲food poisoning occurrence management rate ▲identification management rate of food poisoning causative foods ▲rapid reporting rate of food poisoning occurrences ▲participation in food poisoning simulation training ▲food poisoning prevention consulting.
Gyeonggi Province received high evaluations for its food poisoning prevention management efforts, including joint inspections for food poisoning prevention, conducting rapid reporting and on-site response simulation training in all cities and counties, and exceeding 116% of the food poisoning prevention consulting target.
