Intruder Man: "Not Political Views but Climate Protest"
Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg called for support for Palestine at a climate protest held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
According to major foreign media reports on the 12th (local time), Thunberg attended a climate protest urging action against climate change, held 10 days before the Dutch general election. She invited Palestinian and Afghan women onto the stage and spoke together in front of tens of thousands of people.
Sahar Shirzad, an Afghan woman who spoke at the event, said that Thunberg allowed her to join on stage.

Thunberg said, "We are not on the brink of disaster; we are living in disaster," adding, "Those on the front lines of the climate crisis have experienced its consequences firsthand for decades and have warned us, but we did not listen."
She continued, "We must listen to the voices of those oppressed by the climate justice movement and those fighting for freedom and justice," and appealed for solidarity with the residents of the Gaza Strip, saying, "There can be no climate justice without international solidarity."
As Thunberg's remarks continued, a man jumped onto the podium and grabbed the microphone. He said, "I am here for the climate protest, not for political views." The identity of the man was not confirmed, and he was soon removed from the stage.
Before Thunberg took the stage, the protest was briefly interrupted when a small group of activists in the front row waved Palestinian flags and shouted pro-Palestinian slogans.
Earlier, on the 20th of last month, Thunberg posted on her social media (SNS), "Today we are protesting in solidarity with Palestine and the Gaza Strip. The world must call for an immediate ceasefire, justice, and freedom for Palestine and all affected civilians."
Thunberg, World Renowned for Climate Crisis Activism
Thunberg gained worldwide fame in August 2018, at the age of 15, when she skipped school and staged a 'School Strike for the Climate' in front of the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm.
Thunberg and a small group of young people started the 'Fridays for Future (FFF)' movement, which quickly spread worldwide, and she is recognized as a leading climate activist, even being mentioned as a Nobel Peace Prize candidate.
