Seoul City Publishes 'Architectural Review Works Record Book' Featuring Citizen-Selected Outstanding Buildings
Seoul City announced on the 13th that it conducted a citizen vote on 41 works that passed the architectural review out of 354 buildings submitted to the Architectural Committee over the past two years, selecting outstanding works and publishing the 'Architectural Committee Architectural Review Works Record Book.'

The total 354 architectural works are divided into general buildings (193 cases) and public buildings (161 cases). The online vote was categorized by the main committee reviewing general buildings into ▲general buildings of 21 floors or more ▲multi-family housing with more than 300 households, and by the public building landscape expert committee into ▲small public buildings with a total floor area under 5,000㎡ ▲medium to large public buildings exceeding 5,000㎡ in total floor area.
The results of the online citizen vote selected ▲Seoul Station-Seodaemun Districts 1 and 2 Urban Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project (large general building of 21 floors or more) ▲Dangsan-dong 331-1 New Construction Building (multi-family housing with more than 300 households) ▲Daerim 3-dong Public Complex Office Plan (small public building) ▲Gangseo-gu Integrated New Office Plan (medium to large public building) as first place in each category.
Additionally, for large general buildings of 21 floors or more, the Seoripul Special Planning District Development Project (2nd place) and Seoul Arena Complex Cultural Facility (3rd place) were selected. For multi-family housing with more than 300 households, the Noryangjin District 1 Redevelopment Project (2nd place) and Banpo Jugong Complex 1 Reconstruction Project (3rd place) were selected. For small public buildings, the Gwanak Cultural Welfare Town Plan (2nd place) and Myeonmok 7-dong Complex Office Plan (3rd place) were selected, and for medium to large public buildings, the Myeonmok-dong Library and Parking Lot Complex Facility Plan (2nd place) and KBS Transmission Site Complex Cultural Town Plan (3rd place) were chosen.
The Architectural Review Works Record Book is available for free viewing and download on the Seoul City e-book website, and will also be distributed as a publication to related Seoul City departments and district architectural offices.
