Gwangju National Science Museum 'Future Told by Semiconductors' Science School
The National Gwangju Science Museum will hold a Science School in November.
Gwangju Science Museum will host the event jointly with Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) at 7 p.m. on the 15th in the Sangsaeng Hall of the building.
This lecture will be held under the theme "Our Future as Told by Semiconductors."
Assistant Professor Kang Dong-ho from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at GIST will take time to explore the definition, history, and future of semiconductors.
Assistant Professor Kang earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
His main research areas include device and process technologies for next-generation semiconductors, system development, and development of next-generation optoelectronic devices.

The Science School allows on-site admission after online advance reservation, and anyone from children to adults can participate free of charge.
