US Military Aircraft Crashes in Mediterranean During Training... 5 Soldiers Dead
A U.S. military aircraft crashed into the Mediterranean Sea during training, resulting in the deaths of five soldiers.
According to the U.S. European Command on the 12th (local time), the crash occurred on the 10th. The command confirmed, "the military aircraft crashed during a routine aerial refueling operation as part of training," adding, "all five personnel died."
The type and affiliation of the aircraft have not been disclosed. It is also unclear whether the aircraft was part of the U.S. forces recently deployed to the Middle East in response to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The command is currently investigating the cause of the accident. However, AP added that there are no signs of hostile activity related to the incident.
