Gwangju Dong-gu Jiwon 1-dong 'Meogul Village Meogul Day' Successfully Concluded
The Jiwon 1-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee in Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced on the 12th that it held the 'Meogul Village Meogul Day' event at the Korea Broadcasting and Telecommunications High School playground.
The event featured various programs including the Meogul Market, Romantic Camping, Human Rights Drawing, Family Meogul Traditional Games, Photo Zone operation, and sharing kimchi made from Meogul garden crops.
This was the first step to realize the top priority agenda selected at the Jiwon 1-dong Residents' General Assembly in July last year, which was the utilization of the (former) Jiwon Middle School playground, and was promoted with the cooperation of related organizations, including approval for use from the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education.
