Uljin-gun Hosts Farmers' Unity Festival
Happy Uljin Agricultural Transformation for Everyone!
On the 9th, Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held the 23rd Uljin-gun Farmers' Unity Festival at Heungbu Sports Park in Buk-myeon, attended by about 900 farmers, National Assembly member Park Hyung-su, County Council Chairman Im Seung-pil, other council members, and heads of agricultural organizations in the area.
This Farmers' Unity Festival was jointly hosted by four agricultural organizations leading local agriculture: the Korea Rural Leaders Uljin-gun Federation (President Jang Gwang-seop), the Korean Farmers Association Uljin-gun Federation (President Moon Seong-deok), the Korea Life Improvement Uljin-gun Federation (President Kim Gok-ji), and the Uljin-gun 4-H Federation (President Bae Jin-hyung).
Under the theme "A Great Transformation for Happy Uljin Agriculture Together," various events such as awards for outstanding members and harmony activities were held, providing an opportunity for mutual harmony and information exchange among participating farmers.
Notably, at this event, the Korea Successor Agricultural Managers Uljin-gun Federation and Kim Dong-gyu, CEO of Baekam Farm, each donated one excellent calf as a prize for the purpose of improving Uljin-gun Hanwoo breeding, receiving enthusiastic responses from many attendees.
Jang Gwang-seop, President of the Korea Rural Leaders Uljin-gun Federation, emphasized in his opening remarks, "We all take pride in engaging in agriculture, the life industry of humanity, and we will unite our capabilities and wisdom to help Uljin agriculture and rural areas take a step forward."

County Governor Son Byung-bok stated, "To create new growth engines for agriculture, we plan to promote the activation of double-cropping mechanization complexes, rental-type smart farm complexes, and joint farming and sales.
