Gangdong-gu 'Moving' Kangpul Writer 'TalkTalk Concert' Held
On the 14th, Career Special Lecture and Mentoring by Author Kang Full for Youth and Young Adults... Expect Various Stories Related to the Disney Plus Series 'Moving' Set in Gangdong-gu
Gangdong-gu (District Mayor Lee Soo-hee) announced that on the 14th at 4 PM, a Kang Full TalkTalk Concert will be held at the Seoul Youth Center Gangdong Orang and Gangdong-gu Youth Haenaem Center Lounge.
The Dreaming TalkTalk Concert with Kang Full, a webtoon artist representing Korea, will operate a career special lecture and mentoring program by Kang Full for local teenagers and youth.
Recently, Kang Full's webtoon work "Moving" was produced as an original series by the internet video service (OTT) Disney Plus, drawing great attention not only to the work but also to Gangdong-gu, the drama's setting. Kang Full also received the Writer Award at the 2023 Busan International Film Festival 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards and the 23rd Cartoon Day Merit Award for this work.
At this TalkTalk Concert, it is expected that various stories related to the work, including the scriptwriting process of the hit work "Moving," will be shared.
Meanwhile, Gangdong-gu has continued its relationship with Kang Full since the creation of Kang Full Cartoon Street, and last year, through the Kang Full Cartoon Street landscape improvement project, completed the production and installation of sculptures depicting key scenes from "Moving" while renovating the street. Through this, the district aims to create a synergy effect to widely promote and further revitalize the area along with the popularity of the webtoon and drama.
