Tomorrow's Commute Calls for Padding Looks... Temperature Drops Sharply
Cold Weather Expected to Continue Until the 13th
Temperatures to Rise Afterwards, No 'Suneung Cold Wave' Anticipated
From Friday the 10th to Monday the 13th of next week, cold winds will blow from the northwest, bringing below-freezing temperatures for a while. However, temperatures are expected to return to normal levels before the College Scholastic Ability Test day, so there will likely be no 'Suneung cold wave' this year.

In Seoul, which recorded a low of 5.9 degrees on that day, temperatures will drop to 1 degree on the 10th, minus 1 degree on the 11th when the weekend begins, and minus 2 degrees on the 12th and 13th.
Ice will form mainly inland, and frost will occur in some areas. On the 10th, the nationwide morning low temperatures are forecast to range from minus 2 degrees to 13 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 6 and 15 degrees. These temperatures are about 2 to 5 degrees lower than average.
However, from the 14th, as Korea comes under the influence of a migratory high-pressure system, the wind direction blowing into the country will shift to a relatively warm westerly wind, causing temperatures to rise. The low temperatures in Seoul will return to above freezing, with 1 degree on the 14th and 2 degrees on the 15th.
