'Stop Bedbugs'... Hwaseong City Conducts Thorough Inspection of Lodging Facilities and Bathhouses
By the End of This Month, 267 Locations in the District
Major Violators to Face Administrative Sanctions
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 9th that it will conduct a full inspection of lodging and bathhouse businesses in the area by the end of this month to prevent the spread of bedbugs in multi-use facilities.
The inspection targets 231 lodging establishments and 36 bathhouse businesses, focusing on ▲checking for bedbug presence ▲conducting disinfection at least once a month ▲washing bedding and towels in guest rooms ▲cleaning dressing rooms, wardrobes, and bath areas at least once a day.
The city plans to distribute bedbug information booklets to each business to provide guidance on prevention and management methods, alongside promotional activities.
For minor violations found during inspections, the city will require immediate correction on-site, while serious violations will be subject to administrative sanctions.
