Dongyang Donates Unused IT Equipment... Part of ESG Initiative
Contributed to Reducing Carbon Emissions by Approximately 65 Tons through Delivery of Desktops, Monitors, Printers, etc.
On the 9th, Dongyang, a subsidiary of Eugene Group, announced that it donated unused IT equipment to a non-profit IT support center as part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
The donated items include desktops, monitors, and printers. After inspection and repair at the non-profit IT support center, they were upcycled into new IT devices. These will be delivered to public interest organizations through the non-profit IT support center's Sharing IT Donation Program.
According to Dongyang, this donation activity reduced approximately 65 tons of carbon and created about 7 million KRW worth of environmental value.
