To support farmers struggling with labor shortages during the harvest season, students participating in rural labor assistance were given over 500 sets of garaetteok made from domestic rice and jocheong, raising awareness of Farmers' Day and the importance of domestic rice.
'Garaetteok Day' has been designated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs as 'Garaetteok Day' on Farmers' Day (November 11) since 2006 to expand rice consumption and encourage the hard work of farmers, and this year marks the 18th year of the tradition.
