Israeli Military "Seizes One Hamas Observation Post in Central Gaza City"
The Israeli military announced on the 7th (local time) that it has taken control of a Hamas observation post in Gaza City, the largest city.
The Israeli military stated, "We have secured control of a Hamas observation post in the center of the Gaza Strip, which contains launchers for anti-tank missiles and intelligence materials."
The Israeli military explained that, following guidance from ground forces, fighter jets struck the observation post where about 10 Hamas operatives were located. Ground forces entering the observation post identified a nearby Hamas anti-tank missile unit and requested additional airstrikes.
