Joint Cooperation for Low-Carbon Industrial Complexes
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation and Korea Midland Power have joined forces to expand the distribution of solar power in industrial complexes. The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (President Lee Sang-hoon) announced on the 7th that it signed a business agreement with Korea Midland Power to expand solar power generation facilities for companies located in industrial complexes and jointly support the low-carbon transition of industrial complexes.
This agreement was promoted to establish a cooperative system to transform industrial complexes into eco-friendly energy production spaces, as global regulations on carbon emissions are being strengthened and the need for low-carbon industrial complexes is increasing.

The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, which is responsible for major national industrial complexes nationwide, will handle providing information to resident companies, encouraging their participation, and supporting demand surveys. Korea Midland Power, a power generation public enterprise, will be responsible for investment, installation, and post-management of solar power projects.
