Kyungsung University Holds 'Career Coach Competency Development Workshop'
Kyungsung University’s University Job Plus Center and Career Psychological Counseling Center held the ‘Career Coach Competency Development Workshop’ three times from the end of August to the end of October.
This Career Coach Competency Development Workshop was planned to respond to youth job mismatches by ▲understanding and utilizing student characteristics ▲strengthening empathetic communication skills ▲motivating career development ▲enhancing faculty members’ proactive career guidance capabilities.
The detailed topics of the workshops held this semester were ▲Session 1: Vocational Career Expert Training Course ▲Session 2: Employment and Career Guidance Counseling & Coaching Skills for Immediate Practical Application ▲Session 3: Strengthening Professors’ Career Guidance Competency Aligned with Changed Job/Employment Trends and Changed University Students’ Job Values, with about 150 faculty members participating.
Professors who participated in the workshop shared their feedback, saying, “This event helped us understand the MZ generation and was practically helpful in grasping and applying the actual situation,” and “The specific guidance on career counseling by grade level was helpful.”
