The teenager who fired the gun got off the bus and fled, jumping over a wall and entering a daycare playground. They then abandoned the gun in the playground and escaped.
The gun was found by a child in the playground, who fired it at themselves. The child was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment but is currently in critical condition.
According to the police, the man who was shot earlier on the city bus was also hospitalized and is now in stable condition.
The suspect who abandoned the gun was arrested nearby. The police only revealed that the suspect is under 18 years old.
