Anseong City-Nongshim Anseong Factory Collaboration Exhibition Held
Gyeonggi-do Anseong City will open a special exhibition titled 'Perfect Fit for My Taste' on the 10th at the Anseong Match Museum, highlighting the history of Korean ramen.
This exhibition is a collaboration prepared with Nongshim Co., Ltd., made possible through cooperation with the Nongshim Anseong factory.
The exhibition explores the reasons why Nongshim's ramen soup specialty factory was established in Anseong and the origin of its name. It also shows how Korean ramen began and captured the public's taste. The status of the Korean ramen industry in the global ramen market is also highlighted.
Divided into three parts?▲The Birth of Ramen ▲To Nongshim ▲Targeting Preferences?the exhibition showcases the diverse history of ramen from its beginnings in Korea in the 1960s to the present. Especially interesting are the story of Nongshim, which changed its name from Lotte Industrial Co., Ltd. to Nongshim, and the development story of Anseongtangmyeon, known as the 'G Ramen Project.'
The exhibition also features side events such as a lecture by a Nongshim researcher titled 'Curiosities About Ramen' and a tasting event called 'Green Onion Ramen Cooked by the Director of the Korean Culinary Museum.'
